Stellify, making her first start in nine months, headlines a competitive field of 12 fillies and mares entered in Saturday’s Grade 2, $500,000 Beverly D. at Colonial Downs.

The Beverly D. is one of three graded turf stakes on Colonial Downs’ Festival of Racing program and is part of an eight-stakes card worth $2.6 million.

The Beverly D. has attracted a field of 12, including seven graded stakes winners. Two of those are millionaires, and a third has earned over $950,000.

Trained by Brad Cox, Stellify is a 5-year-old daughter of Justify and returns off a breakout 2025 campaign in which she won four of seven starts and earned more than $1.4 million. Her biggest victory came in the Grade 3 Ladies Marathon at Kentucky Downs, a performance that secured her a berth in the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf.

Manny Franco has the mount for the Beverly D., a 1 3/16-mile turf test.

Among Stellify’s chief rivals is South African Group 1 winner Gimme a Nother. Trained by Graham Motion, the 5-year-old has won her last two starts, taking the Grade 3 Eatontown at Monmouth Park and the Grade 2 John C. Mabee at Del Mar. Hall of Fame rider John Velazquez has the call.

Pin Up Betty also enters in top form after winning the Anchorage Stakes at Churchill Downs. The Michael Maker trainee has won four stakes, including two graded, and earned more than $1.2 million. Mychel Sanchez will ride.

Way to Be Marie exits a runner-up finish behind Pin Up Betty in the Anchorage after also finishing second in the Keertana Stakes. Javier Castellano rides for trainer Eddie Kenneally.

Jose D’Angelo sends out Crevalle d’Oro, winner of the Suwannee River Stakes earlier this season and runner-up in the Pegasus World Cup Filly & Mare Turf Invitational (G2). Local leading rider Paco Lopez has the mount.

The field is completed by Achieve, who brings a three-race winning streak into her graded stakes debut; Somethinabouther; Venencia (FR); Storm Miami (IRE); Daisy Flyer; and Haute Diva.
