Endorsed to stand at Northview Stallion Station

Northview Stalltion Statioin today issued the following press release:

Endorsed, a half brother to newly crowned Horse Of The Year Cody’s Wish, has been purchased by Northview Stallion Station in Chesapeake City, MD where he will stand the 2024 breeding season.

Bred by Goldolphin, the Gr 2 winning Endorsed is by sire of sires Medaglia d’Oro and out of the Gr 1 winning Tapit mare Dance Card, winner of the Gazelle S [G1] and third in the Breeders Cup Filly And Mare Sprint [G1].  His half brother, champion Cody’s Wish will enter stud this year at Darley after a career that included 5 grade 1 wins, twice in the Breeders Cup Mile as a 4yo and 5yo, and culminating in being named Champion Older Dirt Male and Horse Of The Year in 2023.

Endorsed broke his maiden as a 2yo at first asking in a 6 furlong MSW race at Saratoga, stopping the clock in 1:11.22 and earning a 103 Equibase Speed Figure.  Two starts later, Endorsed won an allowance race at Belmont in a very fast 1:08.78.  He went on to finish in the money in 8 stakes, including wins in the Winstar Gulfstream Park Mile S [G2] and the Fred W Hooper [G3].  Finishing second in the Westchester S [G3], beaten a half length by Grade 1 winner Code Of Honor, Endorsed earned a career high 113 Equibase Speed Figure.

Proving soundness and class, Endorsed raced 36 times from 2 to 7, with 7 wins and finishing in the money 20 times.  He earned $970,133 sporting Equibase Speed Figures of 100 or more 20 times.  Endorsed retired from racing in December of 2023 after suffering an injury while training for the Pegasus World Cup [G1].

“Endorsed has been on our radar for quite some time and we’re thrilled to present a horse of this quality to the Mid Atlantic region,” said David Wade, General Manager of Northview Stallion Station.

“By a world class sire, out of a grade 1 winning Tapit mare, a half brother to Cody’s Wish, brilliant miler, multiple graded stakes winner, excellent conformation, long racing career…I could go on and on.”  Wade added, “Endorsed will begin covering mares March 15 as he is recovering from surgery to his right front fetlock and we will be selective of the mares to be bred to him.  Because of this, we’ll stand him for an introductory fee of $5,000 LFSN.  He’s going to be very popular and we invite breeders to come inspect him at the farm by appointment.  I expect him to arrive mid February.”
