Race #5 Picks: 8-3-5-6

Race #6 Picks: 7-5-2-1

In this #44,000 Allowance race N3L for fillies and mares at 6 furlongs, #7 Thistlefield (3-1) won her debut maiden race at Delaware in June. After two dull efforts, she won an optional claiming race wire to wire at Parx. Trainer Scott Lake wins at 24% when going for two in a row, and we have this filly on top today. #5 Princess Cupid (2-1) has been facing stiff competition at Parx and Gulfstream. She had the lead and stopped in last against better, but she might be able to hold the lead with this group. #2 Quiet Imagination (6-1) struggled in Maryland but runs well in Delaware with one win and two seconds in four starts. Back to sprinting after trying routes for her last few races. She has a shot here if she matches her run in the Peach Blossom. #1 Preparefortakeoff (8-1) had a shoe problem in last and has some decent races if you look back in her past performances.

Race #7 Picks: 5-3-8-4

In this third-level allowance/optional claiming race for fillies and mares at 6 furlongs #5 Intrepid Daydream (2-1) hopped badly at the start and then was rushed to the front in last.  That seemed to take something out of her, and she faded late. We look for her to return to her old form today when she was winning and running very solid speed figures. We have her on top.  #3 Philadelphia Belle (3-1) has won three of her last four and has already beaten several other of her rivals today.  Jaime Rodriguez usually likes to try to take her gate to wire and will likely try do the same today. #8 Hey Mamaluke (9-2) has won over half a million dollars in her career and is capable of running a big race if she runes her best. #4 Buy the Best (10-1) has closing ability and will pick up the pieces if the frontrunners fail to hold.

Race #8 Picks: 2-5-4-6
