Race #1 Picks: 6-5-2-7

Race #2 Picks: 3-5-4-1

In this $44,000 first level allowance race for fillies and mares at 6 furlongs, #3 Kirtan (6-1) has been running well at Monmouth this summer and fits well here. She will be fighting for the early lead and we think her front-running style will work well at Delaware. We have her on top.  #5 Rattrapante (9-5) is another early speed horse that is coming in from Monmouth. She has an issue with endurance, but she should be competitive with this group. #4 Escape Fund (7-2) won her last start when she had leading jockey Jaime Rodriguez aboard for the first time. Rodriguez is on top again, and she should be in the mix today. #1 Ghost Maiden (5-2) is always game and puts in a good effort. That won’t change today, and she will fight to the wire.

Race #3 Picks: 11-2-5-10

Race #4 Picks: 1-4-5-3

Race #5 Picks: 5-4-1-2

In this optional claiming/starter allowance race for fillies and mares at 1 1/16 miles on the turf, #5 Palm Reader (6-1) lacked room in last and had to swing wide and settle for second place. That was her first start after a ten-month layoff, and we think she will improve today. We have this lightly raced six-year-old on top. #4 Cashing Big Checks (3-1) is adding blinkers and has already beaten a couple other starters others in this event. If she runs her last two back, she will be a top contender. #1 Unadulterated (8-1) is also adding blinkers and will try turf for the second time. Showed early speed in last before fading. Now taking a class drop and we think she is well meant today. #2 Downtown Katie (4-1) was impressive when winning at this level in last. Fits very well here.
