Race #1 Picks:  4-6-2-3

Race #2 Picks: 3-1A-2-4

Race #3 Picks: 10-3-7-8

Race #4 Picks: 3-2-6-5

Race #5 Picks: 5-1-3-6

In this first level allowance race for fillies and mares at about 5 furlongs on the turf, #5 The Elle Train (Ire) (9-5) won her debut in a MSW race easily back in July. She has been training well in Saratoga, and this race may say something about her potential. We have her on top today. #1 Echo Foxtrot (5-1) has shown she can run on the turf and is now trying it again. Her only loss was against tough competition at Saratoga. #3 Flirtatious Lass (7-2) ran well at this level in last and has shown she likes the Delaware turf. Trainer Gary Capuano’s horses do well in turf sprints, with 10 wins in 30 starts and a positive ROI. #6 Afandi (6-1) has shown she can win over the Delaware turf and has won four of her last six in turf sprints. 

Race #6 Picks: 4-5-3-1

In this optional claiming/starter allowance race for fillies and mares at one mile and 70 yards, #4 Award Wanted (3-1) recently beat several others in here and has a pressing running style that could be to her advantage. We have her on top today. #5 Hashtag Lucky (2-1) is a speed burner and will take the early lead. She will be fighting to hold on late. She has a win and a second in two starts at Delaware and is a top contender. #3 Battle Cry (4-1) has been very competitive at this level but looks to be a notch below the top two.  If there is a way for this horse to improve, Jamie Rodriguez will be able to find it. #1 Towering Gaze (15-1) has not been running well lately but had some good races at Tampa earlier this year.
