Race #1 Picks: 1-5-4-3

In this $16,000 claiming race for N3L at one mile, #2 Ekati’s Verve (5-2) is dropping back down to a level where he won at Fair Grounds last winter. Even though he has not been successful at Delaware this meet, he has put in some respectable speed figures and we have him on top today. #6 Hard Lightning (9-5) has not won this year but he is also taking a class drop today. He is a slow starter and will need some pace up front to win. If the speed falters he could take advantage of it. #4 Heffner (7-2) has won his last two and is in good form. One to consider.

Race #5 Picks: 10-5-8-4

Race #6 Picks: 2-1-4-2

 In this optional claiming race at 6 furlongs, #2 Threes over Deuces (6-5) has earned over $500,000 and continues to run in Stakes races. If he is in top form he should prevail, but this 7-year-old is showing signs of slowing down. We still think he has enough left to win today.  #1 Yodel E.A. Who (7-5) has run well this year with a couple speed figures over 90. He will be laying off the pace and looking to make a late surge. #4 Full Authority (7-2) was running very well at Oaklawn in the spring but has struggled in his last two. Had an excuse two back when he stumbled badly at the start. A chance if he can get back his earlier form. Worth a win bet if he goes off over 4-1.  #3 Press My bets (10-1) has run some good races this year with decent speed figures. Should be in the mix.
