RACE NUMBER | CONTENDERS | COMMENTS |
Race 6 | 3-4-5-6 | #3 Promise the World (2-1): Been away since March of 2021 but showed a lot of talent before her long layoff. Her works say she is ready for top trainer Graham Motion; must be considered. #4 Sense A Million (6-1): Came running late after poor start to be second last out. An alert start will make her a major player here today with same. #5 Dancing Kiki (7-2): Dropping back from a mile to 7 furlongs with similar. Has plenty of back class to upset top pick. #6 Lula’s Roadrunner (3-1): Was a good third last out with same. If she gets the trip in a race without much speed, she can move forward today. |
Race 9 | 7-6-2-3 | #7 Kid Bourbon (4-1): Back on the turf and was a solid second in last turf try at Belmont. The extra distance and his back class make him very playable at a square price. #6 Artistic Endeavor (7-2): Excuse his last start, and with blinkers on today is a major threat to top pick. Just missed two back at Laurel at this level. #2 Saint Marco (3-1): Fair Hill shipper arrives after disappointing try at Laurel and is getting class relief today. Has been in the triple in 5 of 10 on the turf and can get a piece if he lays close. #3 Gogees (8-1): Trying turf for the first time and if he handles it has the speed to go gate to wire in a race that lacks speed. Can upset if everything goes as planned. |
