LAUREL PARK, CHARLES TOWN ADD CANCELLATIONS

The Maryland Jockey Club has announced that live racing has been canceled Saturday and Sunday at Laurel Park due to inclement weather forecast for the weekend along with ongoing track maintenance.
Laurel, Pimlico, Rosecroft and the MJC OTB Network will remain open for simulcasting.

On Monday, January 10, MJC has arranged a consultation with track experts Glen Kozak from NYRA and Jamie Richardson of Churchill Downs, who will be on-site to evaluate track conditions. The track will take entries for Friday, January 14 on January 11.
In addition, Charles Town Races has canceled its Jan. 7 card, which was to be its first card of the season. Live racing is scheduled to resume Saturday, Jan. 8 with a 7:00 p.m. post time.
