n our newest Off to the Races, we’ll have a look back, and a look ahead.
The show will air live October 30 at 10:00 a.m. On tap: a wrapup of Maryland Million 2021, a look back at this year’s Delaware Park meet, and a look ahead to Breeders’ Cup 2021. Maryland Million took place October 23 at Laurel Park and featured an upset in the $150,000 Classic, history made in the Distaff, and much more, and we’ll wrap it up.
- Remembering Mike Valiante
Delaware Park racing had no better friend than Mike Valiante, who passed away unexpectedly Sept. 6.
Then we’ll welcome in our guests:
- Mike Valiante, Delaware correspondent for The Racing Biz, will join us to put a bow on the 2021 DelPark race meet, which concludes October 30 with a nine-race card;
- Nick Hahn, Virginia correspondent for The Racing Biz, will stop by to talk about some of the horses headed to Breeders’ Cup 2021, and he’ll be joined by…
- Derby Bill Watson, former on-air handicapper for Colonial Downs, as we get a jump on the big races next week.
