The night prior, October 22, features Sip & Win, a fundraiser for the Maryland Horse Foundation taking place at the Fasig-Tipton sales pavillion at the Timonium state fairgrounds. Maryland Million, a day of stakes races geared towards Maryland-sired horses, is the oldest state-bred/sired racing day in the nation and will take place this year for the 36th time.
The October 16 Off to the Races will also feature handicapping, race analysis, and of course banter with Derby Bill Watson and Nick Hahn. Derby Bill gave out a $26 winner last weekend on Off to the Races and will look to keep it going this weekend.
