Over the years, many two-year-olds have impressed while breaking their maidens at Delaware Park and gone on to notable careers. That list includes runners like Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro; Grade 1 winner Hard Spun; and Tapit, a Grade 1 winner on the track who’s achieved even more success as a sire.

So what about this year? Which juveniles seen at the meet that ends October 17 might be worth following? We’ve compiled a list of a few that caught our eye:

  • King Fury a Preakness possible
King Fury likely will end up on the wrong side of the Kentucky Derby points cutoff; if so, it’ll be on to the Preakness, said trainer Ken McPeek.
