R3: 4-6-7-1

R4: 2-3-5-4

#2 Tiz the Love impressed in winning her debut by over six lengths in a fast time… #3 Scabiosa graduated last out on turf, and her prior dirt try was a better-than-it-looks second after she broke about six paths outward and rushed up… #5 Turning to Gold won nicely in latest in a race that’s produced a next-out winner, and she showed the ability to stalk-and-pounce…

R6: 5-3-4-6

The conundrum in this contest is #4 Southern Gentleman: a $725k two-year-old, he debuted at three, winning nicely on the front at Santa Anita and earning a 98 Beyer fig, then disappeared for nearly three months before returning to lose an allowance contest; he’s been off over a year since and transferred from the Baffert barn to Mike Stidham, for whom he’ll run here while getting blinkers off and having been gelded; the talent is (or at least was) there, but how trusting are you? We’ll try to beat him with #5 My Boy Star, who already has won a state-bred stake at Gulfstream; showed good speed in latest, a return to the dirt in the G2 Gallant Bob, and now gets back to level that fits him better… #3 Lost My Shoe mounted a strong rally outside to win latest versus lesser; gets a class test with these but may get a good pace to run into…

He shared win honors with Superstar Swank, ridden by Jatniel Ramos for Mac Robertson…
