2. Jungle Boogie	Blinkers off after a couple of middling tries; beaten fave in latest but should contend against these on best and with just six starts to date, still has upside

RACE 2

4. Box Office	Trainer Farrior wins nearly 50% of the time locally when dropping horses from allowance to lower claiming ranks; that race produced two next-out winners, plus winner Falcon Blue, who won here Wednesday
2. Electioneering	Made a prolonged run to the lead in latest before trip-sitting rival picked him up late; hopes to save some ground tonight after wide journey last out
6. Align	May be able to use early foot to better effect than last time when ended up buried down inside

RACE 3

2. Good Accelebrate	Looked to be done with a quarter to go in latest but found more to retake second, beating two rivals that are here, including morning line favorite Wynsome Cat
4. Miss Menetes	Should be out by herself as speed of the speed, and though she was beaten fave in latest, the winner had run competitively at this level
5. Wynsome Cat	Finished behind top choice two back but rallied smartly for second behind 1-5 favorite last out

2. Grandpa Joe	Has mostly kept better company and continues to grind out decent tries
7. Roark	Good trip in latest off the lead duo; troubled show horse came back to win
1. Heart of Gold	Shifts into Shanley barn for third off the bench

RACE 5

4. Youthinkthatsfunny	The pace ought to be lively and contested, which could allow this one to unleash his late kick to best effect; sluggish early in latest but galloped out in front of the winner
9. Honeyquist	Continues to be in sharp form and projects to be part of the early scramble; no Duncan Idaho tonight is good news
6. Thewitchisgone	Thrashed his rivals in big effort last out; makes third start off the bench

RACE 6

2. Pleasenthanku	Suffered first defeat in the Dash for Cash after getting cooked chasing ultra-speedy Honeyquist, but there’s nobody with that kind of early foot in this one; with just four starts to his name, still plenty of upside
5. Pork Chop Pete	Gets leading rider Bocachica back in the irons for third start off the bench after slightly troubled trip in latest
4. John’s Notion	Versatile type had no answers in the Russell Road and probably isn’t good enough to handle the top pair but could get a piece

RACE 7– Randy Funkhouser Memorial Stakes

9. Teachintherelease	How’s this guy get beat here? Maybe if a rival or two goes on a suicide mission to take him out of his front-running game; otherwise, he looks much the best of these and is controlling speed, to boot
6. Neverpopthecork	Three-turn specialist posed no threat in the Sam Huff WVBC but maybe gets a livelier pace today
8. Lord of Cork	Tried this event two years ago but tired after being on the front end; now looking more like a mid-pack type, he could benefit from presence of trainer’s Bail Is Denied, who may provide pace pressure

RACE 8

5. Red Candy Apple	Easily won latest to improve to 2-for-2 at CT and has plenty of early foot
1. Gold Fiber	Chased top choice to no avail two back but returned with a sharp score in latest
3. Trainer Please	Trainer Joy is 15% after trainer switches; makes second start off the bench
