Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races has released its final 2025 live racing calendar following approval by the West Virginia Racing Commission at its Tuesday morning meeting. In addition to the schedule release, Charles Town has announced a 5% overnight purse increase that will take effect on opening night, Thursday, January 2nd, 2025.

Charles Town’s 2025 live racing calendar calls for 160 days of live racing, including a Wednesday through Saturday schedule in January, February, November and December, with racing on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday the remainder of the year. Post time for all but one day on the Charles Town calendar is 7PM ET. Charles Town Classic and Oaks day on Friday, August 22nd will have its customary early post time of 5PM ET.

Charles Town intends on submitting its entire 2025 stakes schedule, which will include the Charles Town Classic (GII), Charles Town Oaks (GII), Robert Hilton Memorial (L), Misty Bennett Pink Ribbon, and West Virginia Breeders’ Classics card for approval in the coming weeks.
