    If the seized medication was “several years past its expiration date” then it hardly could have been anything that these Vets were dispensing recently. Given that these were actually legal until 2023, the only thing I can see they were guilty of is failure to clean out their supply closet.

    Something old enough to be several years past its expiration date makes a vet guilty of not keeping his storage case clean, not of using banned substances. Looks like a witch hunt to me. Having a recipe for something on your wall does not make you guilty of mixing it. At the track stuff is on the wall that has been there for decades.
