Delaware Park stable area to remain open in winter

Delaware Park and the Delaware Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association (DTHA) will offer winter non-seasonal stabling and training for the second consecutive year. The winter stabling dates will be from December 8, 2025 through March 14, 2026.

Winter non-seasonal stabling and training was so well received by horsemen last year, renewing the program this year made sense.

“The opportunity to be stabled at Delaware Park year-round was so well received by Mid-Atlantic horsemen and the program was so successful, we are excited to continue it this year,” said DTHA President Tim Ritchey. “Remaining at the facility year-round benefits the local economy and is a tremendous convenience for our horsemen so they can keep their business operations here in the State.  This is a win for everybody in Delaware and Mid-Atlantic racing.”

The Delaware Park Racing Office is currently accepting applications for winter non-seasonal stabling.
