6. SimmeringArrives off a win and should be sitting one-two early
2. Bad TemperFirst off the Simone claim and gets leading rider JRod up; even effort in latest versus similar

RACE 2

3. Soo HandsomeOnly prior dirt try wasn’t terrible and came going five-eighths; dam was a four-time winner on the main track; competitive if he brings turf form to dirt
4. Frame UpLast couple on dirt are fine; gets blinkers on
1. Parlay for DestinyDraw a line through latest on turf; dirt tries are OK and versus better

RACE 3

3. Mister MuldoonTroubled trip in latest when beaten fave at Canterbury; all four to run back won their follow-ups
10. California TigerMakes third start off the bench and third in Ness barn; half to a multiple stakes winner on turf
9. Pretorian GoldWon an allowance on turf last out at Penn National; has been in the money six of eight on the green

6. Bold AmbitionStinker in latest when pressed into submission by 8-5 winner but prior form OK, including three-back win and two-back outing when beaten less than three at higher level; cutback in distance a bit of a question but does own a win at the trip
7. Belts ‘n BrooksTrainer Richards is 16% second off the claim, and this one ran evenly versus open claiming rivals in latest
1. Fight FiercelyLack of early zip a concern in a race without much of it, but should be running at the end

RACE 5

2. Kindred HeartsWon latest in first career turf outing; trainer Aristone 4/12 with a 3.45 ROI second start off long layoffs
7. MischiefnessNot hating on that last outing when tepid pace put this one up against it, yet she still mounted a bit of a rally; hopes for more lively pace today
6. VolatilitySpeed figs put her right there if not at the head of the class on turf, but unsightly 0-for-13 record on the lawn gives pause

  • Jockey Carol Cedeno won a pair Saturday. She scored on Dark Dutchess ($4.00) for trainer Wallace Neilson and on Pudd’n N Pie ($10.20) for Kelly Deiter
  • Eight different trainers registered victories…
  • Honor Cat ($4.20) was an easy, 4 3/4-length winner in the day’s featured allowance contest for three-year-olds and up, going a mile on the main track in 1:41.92. Alexander Crispin was in the irons for Greg Compton

RACE 6

5. Borracho20-time winner has won two straight, is 11-for-24 at the trip, and may be speed of the speed
3. Spotted BullVeteran will be running late; outmatched two back in a CNL race that included next-out stakes winner Silver Slugger and gave good account of himself in latest behind He’s In Charge, winner of seven straight
8. StormproofMay be in a bit deep here, but do note this one broke his maiden in $20k claiming company at 6f at Keeneland

RACE 7

5. Noble JonAll he does is run good races on turf and should sit an ideal trip with tons of early lick signed on
7. Normandy HeroGood try on dirt in latest versus a very tough group and was easy winner of lone prior turf try
2. Cold FeetOutquicked to the front in latest and failed to fire from there; earlier turf outings were just fine
