Picks and analysis for this afternoon’s card from Delaware Park:

RACE 1

7. Myluckeyvalentine	Galloped in latest when stretched out to two turns; that race has produced a next-out winner
3. Josh	Stuck out in the parking lot last time; inside draw aids the cause
2. Integrated	Didn’t run terribly after slow start in latest and makes third start off the bench

RACE 2

4. Ladybug Mission	Good try in debut behind 3-2 winner and well ahead of a rival who’s here
7. Seven’s Magic	Returning to short sprint and against easier should aid the cause
5. Vamonos Chicas	Improved speed in latest versus much better

RACE 3 – OFF THE TURF

5. Heaven’s Champion	Hoping you might catch a price on a horse trying the main track for the first time (if he stays in); has a bullet move on the dirt, sire Mshawish has done about as well dirt and turf, and this guy beat two next-out winners two back
6. Cardinale	Ultra-speedy sort has been cooked in the pace in two straight, including by the very fast Chipotle; might control it here, but not sure the mile will do him any favors
8. Muthabir	Switches into the Richards barn

1. Bootleg Runner	Two of three siblings to race graduated first or second out; Runhappy’s an average 2yo debut sire, and the Pino barn can win first out; zippy work tab includes a bullet half July 25
6. Freely Held	Solid debut outing when second to a runaway winner
4. Black Volt	Pricey Cairo Prince colt makes career bow; note that he was a vet scratch Aug. 7 at CNL
5. Into the Light	Dutrow ships down an Into Mischief colt who’s a half to multiple Grade 1 winner By the Moon; question is, why ship to DEL?

RACE 5 – OFF THE TURF

12. Never Say Never	Won nicely in latest at PRX; Preciado in the money in seven of nine local starts
1. Mississippi Man	The only concern is that he’ll probably be bet like a good thing but is trying two turns for the first time
8. Cesnola	Was the only horse to make up much ground in race won on the front latest

4. Night Quest	Speed of the speed and never worse than third in four career outings
6. Diriyah	Started off her career well but ’25 has been a mess; maybe the barn switch will help, and note that she attracts leading rider JRod

RACE 7

6. Compass Fire	Seale barn enjoying a productive meet; this one looks to sit off plentiful early speed and pounce
8. Central Casting	One with a ton of early lick and drawn outside, best would win
4. Mudslide	Couple of pretty good tries in allowance company

RACE 8

7. Mean Jakey	Switches back to main track and could sit a good trip with plenty of speed signed on
1. Irish Hero	Trounced better in latest and may fend off the other speeds but will be pressed early
5. Sunset Town	Thrashed by He’s In Charge in latest, but that runner’s won six straight; should be involved from the jump in first in Kravets barn
