RACE 1

2. Myluckeyvalentine	First two-turn try at the bottom; most recent two-turn outing came in race at PIM in which the gates opened in staggered fashion, leaving this one at the back in a race in which he was favored
4. Super Casper	Likely to be one-two in the early going
8. Jr Sergio	Switches into a Nazario barn having a productive meet

RACE 2

4. Rascallion	Likely to be sent to the front in a race void of early lick and should be able to control this one a long way
1. Steel Guitar	Grinding sort keeps running pretty good races
6. Lachicafortequila	Getting back on a fast track for the first time in four starts seemed to help in latest

RACE 3

3. Baron’s Legacy	Second off the bench and finds an easier spot after 24-1 outing versus starter foes
7. Majestic Tiger	Cuts back to one turn and could get favorable pace scenario
2. Ava K’s Boy	Best efforts win here, but two months off after being beaten at 3-10 and having claim voided advise caution

2. Flamenco Star	Useful return after nearly a year away when beaten a handful by a $400,000 son of Good Magic; fourth-place finisher from latest graduated in follow-up
10. Homestead	Speedy sort should appreciate cutback from nine furlongs and best likely wins here, but will he be able to clear in a race with other speed?
13. Alrasikh	Could be a player if drawing in off the AE; finished third in a Churchill maiden event last fall, and return to action last month, albeit in lesser company, wasn’t bad at all when second on a boggy course behind class-dropping Souper Crunchy
7. Grey Biggsy	Improving sort gets back to best game on turf

RACE 5

7. Group Ticket	Probably won’t get the morning line on this guy, who enters with back-to-back wins and three of four versus similar or better; looks for stalk-and-pounce trip
2. Remembering Wilbur	Has run two big ones in a row going short and may not have as much pressure up front here; two-for-three at the distance and has shown he can handle a route of ground and gets reunited with rider Cruz
3. Town’s Warrior	Has won three straight, two in allowance company

RACING NOTES

Wednesday’s Early Pick 5 paid over $10,000, and the MIddle Pick 5 paid out to four of five, with a $6,700 carryover into today. Why? Mostly because Top Blood blew up the toteboard in the third race. With Jean Briceno up for crafty trainer Jose Corrales, Top Blood prevailed by three parts of a length in a claiming race, paying his few backers $93.60. Top Blood is 3-for-15 in his career…
A pair of runners won their career debuts Wednesday. With Arnaldo Bocachica in the irons, Wall Art won a $25,000 maiden claimer for two-year-olds by nearly eight lengths. Trained to victory by Anthony Farrior, he was claimed out of the race by trainer Kieron Magee. In the nightcap, a $25,000 maiden claimer for older runners, Bodkin Creek rallied to win by a length under jockey Carol Cedeno. The winner, a homebred for Kathy Dibben, is trained by Karin Wagner…

RACE 6

10. On the Payroll	Speedy sort crushed claiming company in season bow, now seeks to move back up the class ladder; attracts leading rider
1. Anaita	Loves the trip (5-for-7) and is 2-for-3 on firm turf; the only challenge will be working out a trip from the rail with speedier early types to his outside
7. Above the Limit	Switches into Lynch barn for first start in six months

RACE 7

3. Traffic Master	Several in here could heat up a lively pace; this guy might be able to sit off it and make a move, as he did two back winning at LRL; in good form now
1. Awesome Flay	Figures to be one of the pace horses, and if he gets loose, he’ll be tough to reel in; no answers last out in tough starter condition, but destroyed N1X rivals in last local try
5. Get Set	Another who can work out a closing trip and gets leading trainer’s go-to rider

RACE 8

5. Bear Hunt	Arrives off a win and makes second start after Rodriguez claim (4-for-12 in second off the claim)
2. Silent Roar	Good try in latest versus similar and retains leading rider JRod
1. Long Astride	Closing sort won in first in new barn
