RACE 1

6. Skip Thru Da Fire	Has faced much better, is only a couple months removed from winning a Maryland-bred allowance
3. Major Houlihan	Up late to prevail in latest and might be rounding back into form
4. Lady Dominance	Clever ride made the difference in last-out win when ceding the pace before running down the leader

RACE 2

6. Halo Hottie	Three of five siblings — including a stakes winner and a multiple graded-placed runner — won on debut; Mendelssohn firsters win 12% of the time, and the Servis barn can win first out
5. Doc’s Miracle	Improved speed in latest and excuses in both to date; scratched out of 7/18 spot for this one
4. Don’t Judge Me	Stidham barn wins at a 26% clip with 2yo firsters in special weight company first out at Delaware; 1st foal out of an unraced mare

RACE 3

4. No Walk Inthe Park	Has the best Beyers and makes second start off the bench, but she’d be a lot easier to endorse if her 16-race career didn’t include eight seconds or thirds versus just one win
7. Paperback Edition	Doesn’t appear to have beaten much to graduate but did it nicely; return to dirt a plus
1. Wild Girl	Mostly competitive when spotted at similar level

13. Heybackatcha	OFF THE TURF: Her dirt form isn’t typically much worse than her turf form, and she’s been working fast at Fair Hill
5. Peach Tea	Added ground a plus in second off the bench
10. Tesoro Rossa	Graduated on the main track two back

RACE 5

6. Dubstep	Good try in latest in first in four months when forcing way to the lead after dawdling opener and just failing late; can move forward
1. Flinny Tin Tin	Got a break after several stinkers, but better tries would contend; bested $12,500 rivals for never-two condition and could be forwardly placed today
5. Extremely Gruntled	What a great name! Even try in latest going short but should appreciate return to a route

RACING NOTES

Jockeys Angel Cruz and Jaime Rodriguez each won twice Friday. Cruz won aboard Do It for Michael ($5.00) for trainer Jerry Robb and on Freedom Stance ($4.40) for Ricky Sillaman. JRod scored on Frack Baby ($4.40) for Greg Compton and on Cybertime ($3.80) for Anthony Farrior…
The day’s first two winners, Indulge and Bucks Some, returned $35.00 and $32.20, respectively. No other winner paid even $9.00, and five of the remaining six paid $5.00 or less. As a result, the early Pick 5 returned $7,271.05 on a 50-cent wager, while the middle and late Pick 5s paid $79.50 and $105.05…

13. Preacha Meyers	OFF THE TURF: Caught a good setup to graduate two back and last out ran behind Do It for Michael, who won here yesterday; added ground could be a positive, and breeding says it should work
3. Wrap and Send	Where’d that come from? Absolutely throttled maiden 15s last time out at PRX, making an eye-catching middle move and then drawing away without being asked; repeat makes him a winner here, likely at short odds
10. Warrior Wayne	Good try despite four-wide journey in latest

RACE 7

7. Sir Mendel	Just missed versus loose leader in latest and show horse came back to win Wednesday
2. Speedy Alex	Graduated last out in eighth try and lands in good spot to try for a double; tactical enough to take advantage if pace is moderate
1. Inmortal J	Late-running sort couldn’t quite get to wire-to-wire winner last out

RACE 8

6. Honor Cat	Forced to twiddle her thumbs at the head of the lane when inside path disappeared; return to Oaklawn form would do it
2. I Can Do It	In a race light on speed, she should be engaged early
5. She’sarollingstone	Ran on nicely behind repeat winner in latest

RACE 9

6. Granted Success	Might have been best in latest when a bit of traffic forced him to shift from the rail to widest of all for late run that just missed; drawn better today outside in a race light on early lick
2. Formal Affair	Some gaudy recent speed figs will draw plenty of wagering money, but in prior sprint tries he’s been left with a lot to do in the final furlong
4. Russian Hammer	Finished second in largely similar group last out but a gate scratch 7/3
