FIRST STAR: ALLFORMENONEFORYOU. West Virginia-bred 3-year-old fillies squared off in the Saturday feature at Charles Town, the It’s Binn Too Long Stakes. Two-time stakes winner Diakonissa was sent away as the 7-5 favorite in the seven-horse, 4 1/2-furlong dash, while Allformenoneforyou, off a maiden-breaking win at third asking last out, went off as the 7-2 second choice. Allformenoneforyou proved much the best, as she broke on top, opened up a clear lead, and was in front by five at the top of the stretch. She never changed leads and saw her margin shrink as Over the Bull and Macnick Time surged, but the wire came in plenty of time, as she won by 2 1/4 lengths. Diakonissa never got involved and proved no better than fifth. The winner was bred by Anthony Croson and is owned by Ashley Croson, trained by CYNDY mcKee, and ridden by Marshall Mendez.

SECOND STAR: RUNALDO. Last year’s Sam Huff champion, Runaldo, made his return to the races on Charles Town’s Friday program in a conditioned West Virginia-bred allowance contest. He broke from the outside post in the 10-horse, a 6 1/2-furlong contest, and rated in third place off early leaders Charitable Windsor and Paymengold. As they moved around the final turn, Runaldo made his move, and easily drew off en route to a 6 1/2-length win. The victory improved Runldo’s career record to 6-3-2 in 14 starts, with earnings of $254,176. He’s a homebred for Huntertown Farm LLC, trained by Jeff Runco, and ridden by Arnaldo Bocachica.

THIRD STAR: ALANI. A field of third-level filly and mare sprinters met in Laurel Park’s Sunday feature. Alani, one of two in the five-horse field who had raced this year, prevailed by four lengths. She sat in third in the arly stages, rating off Miss Harriett, in her 2025 debut, and longshot Happy Clouds. Frankie Pennington asked Alani for run on the turn, and she responded, drawing off in the stretch to win easily. She’s owned by Hardesty Stables LLC and Michael Day and trained by Michael Moore.
