- RACES ON CARD: 8
- CARRYOVERS: Jackpot Pick 6, $2,240

RACE 1
2. Bashful Daisy | Debut wasn’t bad versus better at GP; makes first local start and first for hard-hitting Farrior barn |
6. Ful of Shenanigans | Led a long way in a heat that appears to have been decent in first outing, as winner later won a $130k allowance at Oaklawn; first of the season |
3. Brody’s Cat | Prepped at Elloree Training Center in SC |
RACE 2
3. Bradley Do Right | Bit of a shot in the dark here off three consecutive terrible outings, but if this guy can find his way back to his mid-year 2024 form, he’s better than these and at a price |
6. Our Brightest Star | Likely fave is more lightly raced than some here and barely missed two back versus similar, but 0-for-7 ledger at the trip makes you want to be a bit cautious on how low you’ll go price-wise |
1. Shiney Ghost | Owns a win at the trip |
RACE 3
6. Grand Intentions | Did a lot wrong in debut but still rallied smartly for third after sluggish start; Grams 7-for-17 with second-time starters ITM on debut |
8. Readthefineprint | Zippy worktab for this Last Print filly whose half-sib Dorado won at first asking; Contreras can win first out and puts go-to rider up |
1. Changes | Willing effort when chasing winner throughout in latest |
RACE 4
1. Crazy Anita | Graduated at the special weight level, and first try against winners was solid; draw a line through latest going two turns and look for this one to flash early foot from the rail |
5. Collecting Angels | Improved try last out and makes second start in Brown barn; may be a bit outfooted early cutting back to dash distance |
6. All Aboard | Maiden breaker was sharp |
RACE 5
6. Riverlee | Made first start off the bench a winning one to graduate in latest; with just four starts, still has upside |
4. Exclusive Original | Solid work tab towards season bow |
8. Bull Rider | Missed by less than a length in prior try at the bottom |
RACE 6
1. Flyin Mayan | Beat similar in latest, and four of five to run back have been 1-2-3 in their follow-ups; makes third start off the bench |
4. Bail Is Denied | Useful season bow last out and gets back to preferred two-turn trip here; just missed in WV Futurity two back |
6. W V Lad | Big step forward in latest when just missing second despite very troubled trip |

RACE 7 – Its Binn Too Long Stakes
1. Diakonissa | Last year’s champion 2yo WV-bred filly makes season bow here; did best work at dash distance last year |
7. First Print | Not sold on what she beat last out but she did it like a good thing |
3. Over the Bull | Nearly beat top choice on WVBC night going two turns last fall; kicked off season with sharp one-turn score, and we’re inclined to forgive latest when a bit sluggish but still willing |
RACE 8
7. Woodcut | Well-traveled sort ran credibly at Fonner in latest, finds bottom level here |
3. Madam Senator | Second off the bench and lightly raced sort |
1. Super Kendall | Even effort in latest and gets blinkers on |
