On this week’s Off to the Races Conversations, former Maryland Racing Commission chairman Michael Algeo joins us for an extended conversation. We discuss his four-year tenure as chairman: what he thinks the industry has accomplished, what challenges it still faces, plus a couple of things that surprised him and much more.

In addition, Derby Bill Watson and Nick Hahn join us to handicap some races. This week, the pair tackled the cross-country Pick 5 on Saturday. That wager features three races from Keeneland, including the Grade 2 Raven Run, and two from Belmont, including the Floral Park Stakes.

Check out Off to the Races for some racing conversation!
