Off to the Races on The Racing Biz Radio Network returns Saturday, July 8.

Guests include trainer Michael Gorham, Maryland Jockey Club president Sal Sinatra, and Bill Reightler, representing the Maryland State Fair.

  • Gorham is currently tied for second at the 2017 Delaware Park meeting with six wins, and he’ll send out You Know Too in Saturday’s Grade 3 Delaware Oaks.
  • Sinatra will join us to discuss the Maryland Jockey Club’s recent announcement of a $4.4 million fall stakes schedule.
  • Reightler serves on the racing committee of the Maryland State Fair, which has announced increased purses and the addition of a stakes race for this summer’s Timonium meet at the fairgrounds.

As always, Derby Bill Watson will be on to handicap.

The one-hour program airs at 10:00 a.m. each Saturday on Richmond’s ESPN 950 AM, and on 102.7 FM and 1240 AM out of Petersburg. Additional stations will be announced as they come online. It also is available via streaming (see link below).

The show will focus on Thoroughbred racing and breeding around the mid-Atlantic region and across the country.
