Coming off a one-length win in the Kentucky Derby (G1), American Pharoah has been unanimously voted the clear leader of his division in the latest NTRA Top 3-Year-Old Poll, results of which were released today. The Pioneerof the Nile colt, a winner of five in a row dating to September, received all 47 first-place votes for 470 points.

Previously undefeated Dortmund (399 points), third in the Derby, held on to the second slot in the Poll while Derby runner-up Firing Line (393) jumped to third.

The top 10 was rounded out by Frosted (315), Materiality (212), Carpe Diem (141), International Star (140), Friday’s Kentucky Oaks (G1) winner Lovely Maria (130), Danzig Moon (118) and Saturday’s Pat Day Mile (G3) winner Competitive Edge (103).
