Veterinarian Tom Bowman, cofounder and former partner in Northview Stallion Station has joined his son, Dr. Brooke Bowman and longtime Maryland horseman Louis Merryman as a partner in Heritage Stallions, Inc. Dr. Bowman and his wife Chris have been the top breeders in Maryland for six of the last eight years.
Heritage Stallions, Inc. is located in Chesapeake City, Maryland, and currently stands six stallions: Graded stakes-winning DESPITE THE ODDS, by Speightstown; Kentucky Derby winner GIACOMO; Canadian Champion HUNTERS BAY; PLAN, a Grade I stakes-placed son of Storm Cat, out of Breeders’ Cup Champion Spain; Multiple Grade I winner SHOWING UP, a record setter on both dirt and turf; and Street Cry’s record-setting Graded winner STREET MAGICIAN.
