Gabby says….

“Race 6 is an allowance/optional claiming for two year-old fillies.  Several of these are coming in off wins, and there are a lot of ways to go here.  I make #5 Respectful Wishes my top pick.  She has the most experience, has been keeping stakes company, and has already won this race… #2 Steady N Love showed some guts when she ran second in the Maryland Million Lassie and then won next out, but #3 Access to the Moon beat her first out and looks like a tough customer… Even though #8 Venice dropped into claiming company to break her maiden, she did it easily…

“Race 7 is a first allowance for older going 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf, and I’ve got four in here.  It’s feast or famine for #1 Harlan’s Vitesse, and I think 8-5 is too short on him, but he could be the lone speed here, and that might be enough… #7 Bert B Don is dangerous here; he’s won this race twice running for the tag at Colonial and Monmouth, and he’s been close here at Laurel.  I think he may need to sit a little closer than his last couple…  #8 I.E. Flash took a lot of action at the windows last out and won nicely.  He may get a good setup today, and I think with a clean trip, he’ll be tough… #11 Star Maneuver beat Harlan’s Vitesse in their last race.  It was a gutsy performance…

“In the eighth, a three-other-than allowance, I’m singling #12 Mr. Online.  I think he’s just on a different level class-wise from the rest of these.  He ran second to Ben’s Cat here and then second again in the G1 Nearctic…

“In the ninth, a nickel conditioned claimer, I think #8 Tatao’s Wildcat might be the fastest of all on the stretchout to seven furlongs, and I think he could control from the jump.  That said, these races depend on form — whoever’s feeling best usually wins — and there are others who could win.”

Good luck!
