Race #2 Picks: 3-2-5-1

Race #3 Picks: 4-5-6-1

Race #4 Picks: 3-5-6-4

Race #5 Picks: 5-6-10-4

Race #6 Picks: 1-3-4

In the $50,000 Stanton Stakes for Delaware bred or certified three-year-olds at 6 furlongs, three of six entered have scratched, leaving just three to face the starter. #1 Witty (7-5) tried grass in the Penn Mile in his first race since January. Now back to the dirt where he had won three in a row, including two stakes races. If he can return to that form, he will be very tough today. We are a little concerned by his slow works and wonder if he is in top form. #3 Crabs N Beer (3-1) can run on dirt or turf and fits well with this group. He is a steady performer with no breaks in his racing line. He has the speed to be in the mix today. #4 Liltonytwophones (15-1) was up the track in a local maiden event on debut.

Race #7 Picks: 1-9-7-4

In this allowance/$28,000 optional claiming race for N2X at 7 ½ furlongs on the turf, #1 Nathan Detroit (10-1) broke very slowly in last, trailed the field and rallied to get the show spot. With a better break today, we think he will have enough closing speed to get to the wire first. Has won two-of-three lifetime at a mile on the turf. #9 Radical Right (5-1) has been sprinting on the turf and is now stretching out. He looks like he wants more ground and has the class to be competitive here. #7 Kingpin (7-2) is another turf sprinter who is stretching out. He should improve in second back after a long layoff. #4 Seismic Wave (5-2) was running some big speed figures at Belmont last year. Then he was claimed for $25,000 and kept out for eight months. It remains to be seen if he can get back to his old form.

Race #8 Picks: 4-7-6-2
