Race #1 Picks: 1-6-4-2

Race #2 Picks: 5-1-6-4

Race #3 Picks: 2-1-4-3

Race #4 Picks: 9-10-5-7

Race #5 Picks: 5-1A-3-2

Race #6 Picks: 5-10-7-1

This $16,000 claiming race for N3L at one mile and 70 yards on the turf is a good betting race. #5 Sprite’s Lady (8-1) won at this level on the turf at Delaware last year as a 3YO. She should be improved as a 4YO and we have her on top today. #10 Dixie’s Fascinator (6-1) has been off since October but has been working well in Maryland. Dangerous if ready. #7 Blame the Gods (5-2) could not win at this level here at Delaware last year. She’s a year older and there is no reason to believe she can do it now. She still might get a small piece. Her form’s a bit in-and-out, but #1 No Sniveling (10-1) has been competing against open claiming rivals, so the drop into lifetime company may work to her advantage. Her better efforts put her in the mix.

Race #7 Picks: 2-7-8-3

In this allowance/$50,000 optional claiming race for fillies and mares at 5 ½ furlongs, it’s hard to go against #2 Street Lute (9-5). She’s proven to be just one level below a graded stakes horse and isn’t facing any monsters in here. There is a lot of early speed in this short race so she can’t afford to break poorly. She is back with her regular jockey, and If she breaks cleanly she should be able to top this field. #7 Malibu Beauty (2-1) beat Street Lute by a nose in one of their meetings last year and will be her biggest rival again today. If Street Lute isn’t on her game, this filly could very well take the top spot. #8 Glory Dia (8-1) has been dull her last couple starts and was beaten by I’m the Talent two races back. That was her poorest race in a long time and we think she will be better today. #3 I’m the Talent (8-1) has the speed figures to be another strong competitor in this field.

Race #8 Picks: 4-1-3-5
