Race #1 Picks: 3-2-1-7

Race #2 Picks: 4-1-3-5

Race #3 Picks: 3-1-6-10

Race #4 Picks: 2-6-5-1

Race #5 Picks: 2-4-8-6

Race #6 Picks: 3-2-4-1

In this first allowance/$15,000 optional claiming race at 6 furlongs, #3 Hero Tiger (6-5) looks like he will be hard to beat.  He was running well at Gulfstream and then came within a nose of winning at this level eighteen days ago at Monmouth. If he can come close to repeating that race, he should win this event easily.  #2 Under The Radar (12-1) showed decent form just one week ago, which is a plus since some in here have not run since last year.  Trainer Cesar Nambo has occasionally run horses back with seven or fewer days between starts, and if this one goes he could make an impact. #4 Chief Ron (5-2) has run evenly this yearand if he repeats those efforts he could get a piece of the action in this weak field. Trainer Chelsey Moysey has been very cold this year, which is a concern. #1 No Sabe Nada (6-1) did well on the Delaware dirt course last year, and if he is ready after the layoff, he could be dangerous.

Race #7 Picks: 3-6-7-1

In this second-level allowance/$28,000 optional claiming race at one mile and 70 yards on the turf, #3 State Crown (5-1) was running well on the turf last year and needed last. Trainer Michael Trombletta does well on second after a layoff. We think this filly is primed for a big run today. #6 Fionnbharr (2-1) is a consistent runner who fits well in this spot. She will be passing tiring rivals late and should get up for a place in the trifecta with this group. #7 Klayton’s Kandy (3-1) is coming back from an eight-month break, but is really the only speed in here. If he comes back ready to race, he could take them gate to wire. #1 Suiko (6-1) is another runner who has been away for a number of months, but if ready he fits well with these.

Race #8 Picks: 2-6-4-3
