Race #7   Picks:   4-1-5-2

This allowance/optional claiming race at 6 furlongs is extremely competitive and a difficult race to handicap. We are going to take a shot with a horse that looks like he could improve and may be sitting on a big race. That horse is #4 Causeway Jones (4-1). This Jerry Hollendorfer-trained colt was running well at Oaklawn and Monmouth. He appeared to have a little trouble in last and we think he could be set up for a big race today at a fair price.  #1 Seanow (8-5) has won three in-a-row and four of his last five. He is coming back fresh after a tough summer campaign and looks very dangerous in this spot. The other half of this Ness entry, The King Cheek, also looks like a top contender, so whichever horse from this entry goes to the gate will be one to strongly consider.  #5 Redeem Eddie (3-1) is a speed burner and always puts in a game effort. The track might be wet today which usually favors speed and would make him extra dangerous. #2 Jeopardy James (6-1) will be just off the pace but may make a late move if the race sets up for him.

Race #8   Picks:   7-4-6-1

In this allowance/optional claiming race at one mile and 70 yards #7 Unidentified Man (6-1) is the winner of two straight and appears to be well spotted again today. He has already beaten several others in here and we think he will cross the wire first today. #4 Kratos 5-2 was very game in last when he dug in but needed another few feet to pass the winner in time. Any improvement today will give him a very good chance to be on top.  #6 Twitty City (6-1) will be running late and could be dangerous if a duel develops up front. #1 Celtic Treasure (7-2) has early speed but sometimes falters when pressed late. He’s still one to consider.

Race #9   Picks:   5-1-4-6
