Race #2   Picks:   1-2-6-3

Race #3   Picks:   5-6-1-2

Race #4   Picks:   2-3-6-1

Race #5   Picks:   6-3-4-5

Race #6   Picks:   1-5-3-4

In this third-level allowance/optional claiming race at one mile and 70 yards, there are a number of possibilities. #1 Dreams Untold (4-1) seems to be rounding into form and ran a game second to tough competitor Senior Investment in last. This gelding has an excellent work tab, and we think he will run a big race today. We have him on top. #5 Shackqueenking (6-1) was impressive in last after a seven-month break. Any improvement today will make him very competitive with this group. He could be dangerous here. #3 Aspect (3-1) is a horse-for-the-course who has six wins here and has been in the trifecta in 12 of 16 lifetime starts at Delaware.  He will be closing late in the stretch and has a shot if none of the others runs a big race.  #4 McElmore Avenue (2-1) may have been in a little over his head in last at Laurel, but he did not have the best trip, either. If he gets a better trip today, he should be right in the mix.

Race #7   Picks:   1-6-8-5

In this $40,000 first-level allowance race at 6 furlongs there are no standouts. #1 Starburst (3-1) had no excuses when he was nailed at the wire in last. However, it was still the fastest he has ever run, and we think this lightly raced three-year-old will learn from that experience and improve today. We have him on top. #6 Ellas My Love (2-1) has won six races lifetime and always puts in a strong effort. He has proven he can compete at this level and is a top contender today. #8 Dr. Doyle (6-1) ran some good races at Monmouth this summer, and if he can repeat those races he will be competitive today.  #5 Smithwick’s Spice (8-1) should be able to get a minor piece of the pie if he runs his best.

Race #8   Picks:   9-5-3-8
