Joe’s Selections

Race #1   Picks:   1-5-6-3

Race #2   Picks:   7-3-5-4

Race #3   Picks:   2-4-6-1

Race #4   Picks:   5-4-1-6

In this starter allowance/optional claiming race at one mile and 70 yards #5 Midnight Act (3-1) won under the exact same conditions in his last try.  A repeat of that race should be good enough to win again today. #4 V.I.P. Who (4-1) is in excellent form and trainer Jerry Hollendorfer wins at 24% on the first try after a claim.  He looks dangerous here.  #1 Chrisatude (2-1) has won two straight since being claimed by Jamie Ness. He looks sharp, but to win three-in-a-row he will need to prove that he can win while running a route race. If he wants the extra distance, he will be very dangerous.  #6 Marco Island (6-1) has some early speed and could run a good race today.

Race #5   Picks:   6-1-3-4

Race #6   Picks:   7-1A-4-3

Race #7   Picks:   5-4-3-2

In this starter allowance/optional claiming race at 6 furlongs #5 Easy Day (3-1) is clearly the horse with the most early speed in this race. He has run some good figures in recent races and we think he will get the early lead and not get caught. We have him on top. #4 Littlebitamedal (2-1) was running well at Delmar this summer before Jamie Ness took over his training. Ness usually has them ready to go, and If he can run back to that form he is a definite top contender. #3 California Swing (6-1) is a closer who will be running late. If the speed falters he will be around to pick up the pieces. A chance. #2 Tudox Expectations (4-1) will be making his first start for Jose Camejo. This horse is inconsistent but has run some decent races on the Delaware main track.

Race #8   Picks:   9-10-4-3
