Race#1   Picks:   7-3-1-5

Race#2   Picks:   5-8-1-3

Race#3   Picks:   3-1-4-5

Race#4   Picks:   6-1-2-5

Race#5   Picks:   3-1-4-6

This second-level allowance/optional claiming race for fillies and mares at 6 furlongs is a very competitive race. #3 Be Sneaky (7-5) is an improving three-year-old who still has not run her best race. She was in a little too tough last time when she ran fourth in the Lady Erie Stakes at Presque Isle Downs. She won a first-level allowance race here at Delaware in July and any improvement from that race should put her over the top today.  #1 Above Par (6-1) won two in a row here at Delaware before being freshened. She probably needed the break as she was running often this year. She has a couple of decent works and we think she will be in the mix today. #4 We Miss Susie (7-2) can be fairly inconsistent, but if she fires today she has the speed to run with this group. She has two recent bullet works, which is a good sign. #6 Flashing Diamond (3-1) has run very well at Parx this year and will be trying the Delaware main track for the first time. A chance.

Race #6   Picks:   3-1A-8-7

Race #7   Picks:   3-9-8-2

In the $50,000 Rocky Run Stakes for juveniles at one mile, #3 Cooke Creek (10-1) ran past his rivals in his debut race without the jockey ever using his crop. His pedigree indicates he may want to go longer, and trainer Jeremiah O’Dwyer does well when stretching out. We think this longshot may surprise today.  #9 Bold Leader (6-1) graduated from the maiden ranks in last, running a strong 66 speed figure. He is a proven route winner, which gives him a leg up on most of these. Any improvement from last should put him in the mix. A contender.  #8 Forty Stripe (5-1) ran a 73 figure in the Smoke Glacken Stakes at Monmouth in last. If he can match that in a two-turn, race he will be a definite contender today. He looks dangerous in this spot. #2 No Sabe Nada (9-2) has been performing very well in Delaware certified stakes races. If this consistent performer can repeat those efforts, he will be a contender today.
