Race #6 Picks: 7-1-12-4
In this $40,000 first-level allowance for fillies and mares at 7 1/2 furlongs on the turf ,#7 Mo Normal (6-1) took a big step forward in her most recent race posting a 70 Beyer figure. We think this 3-year-old still has not peaked and could run a big race today. She posted a bullet work recently to keep her sharp. We like this filly on top today. #1 Dream About Me (6-1) is another lightly raced 3-year-old that is getting better with experience. She is a top contender in this event. #12 Gold Rush Kizzie (8-1) almost won at this level at Parx a couple weeks ago and is in good form. Will try to get clear again and could be dangerous. #4 Forever Dreaming (9-2) had a strong debut race but was overmatched in last. She should be competitive against this group.
Race #7 Picks: 7-8-4-2
In this $10,000 starter allowance at six furlongs #7 John’s Promise (3-1) got caught in a speed dual in last and got passed in the stretch by a very good horse. It was still a game effort, and we think he will have enough to cross the wire first today. #8 Skyscanner (6-1) had some good races under trainer Mark Reid. Now claimed by Aaron Shorter who wins at a 20% clip with new claims. He should be in the mix. #4 Nashvegas (10-1) led and faded in last two, but now back down to a level where he won before. Could surprise at a price. #2 California Swing (4-1) has been improving of late and fits well with this group.
Race #8 Picks: 4-12-7-3
Race #9 Picks: 1-6-3-5
