Race #1 Picks: 3-7-1-5
Race #2 Picks: 7-4-8-5
Race #3 Picks: 4-3-7-1
Race #4 Picks: 8-3-1A-7
In this $25,000 claiming race for 3yo or for older horses that have never won two at one mile and 70 yards, #8 Artistic Reason (8-5) has been facing tougher in Maryland. The turf experiment did not work out, and now he’s moving back to dirt. If he duplicates his recent dirt performances he should be able to beat this group. #3 Unidentified Man (7-2) has won two races in four tries since arriving from Oaklawn. He will be able to compete if he runs one of his better races. #1A Kidyounot (9-2) is an improving three-year-old that looks like he wants more distance and is stretching out. Since no horse in this event looks unbeatable, this would be a good win bet if he enters the gate at his morning line odds or higher. #7 My Danny Boy (12-1) has had some competitive races at this level and could be in the mix.
Race #5 Picks: 12-1-10-9
Race #6 Picks: 2-6-4-5
In this starter/optional claiming race at six furlongs #2 Easy Day (6-1) has been facing tougher horses and been racing well. Has been in the trifecta in 10-of-11 lifetime. We like him on top today. #6 Tudox Expectations (3-1) won at this level at his most recent start at Delaware with an 81 figure. New trainer Alexander Martinez wins at 22% when he takes over the training duties. A contender. #4 Satchel de Ritches (2-1) comes from Del Mar, where he was running well. Now Andrew Simoff will race his new claim at Delaware. He should compete with this group. #5 Beyond the Bend (8-1) was running well at Penn National and will try Delaware for the first time. He fits well here.
Race #7 Picks: 2-3-4-7
Race #8 Picks: 3-1A-7-6
