Race #5 Picks: 3-1-4-9
Race #6 Picks: 7-5-6-4
In this $40,000 first-level allowance race at 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf #7 The Sicarii (3-1) is winless this year but has been facing stiff competition in New York. He tends to break poorly which cost him in last. This is a short race, but we think he will have enough speed to get to the wire, but if he gets left in the gate it will be a big problem. Even with his shortcomings he has been working well and we have him on top. Andrew Simoff is bringing his recent Del Mar claim #5 Satchel de Ritches (2-1) to Delaware. This gelding was running well in lower-level claiming races, and it will be interesting to see how those performances will translate to a Delaware Park allowance race. #6 Starburst (8-1) won his first two dirt tries before running up the track in a grass effort. Now back on his preferred surface and he should improve. #4 Grandeur (6-1) improved in his first three races and may run a good one today.
Race #7 Picks: 7-3-5-1
In this $16,000 starter allowance for fillies and mares at about 1 1/16 miles on the turf #7 Judi Blue Eyes (5-2) ran some good races with similar horses at Pimlico. If she can match her May races, she will be very tough to beat today. #3 Witch (7-2) always puts in a good effort and has enough speed to be a top contender today. #5 Lake Parima (8-1) is another filly that almost always puts in a good effort and must be used in any exotic plays. #1 Bella Pierina (4-1) may be reaching the form she had in Tampa, and if so she could be very dangerous in this one.
Race #8 Picks: 1A-2-3-6

Going all in Neigh Dude in 8th. Problem for me is to get value I think you have to do a pick 3/4. And races 5-7 I have no clue. Hate probable fav in 7th, Judi Blue Eyes, but can find anyone else I like. All/All/1,2,3,4,5,8/2. $144. Maybe.
Hi Bill, thanks for your input. Personally, I wouldn’t spend $144 on a pick 4 at Delaware. The payouts there usually aren’t high enough to make it profitable. I would spend that much if I really liked a pick 4 sequence at tracks like Saratoga or Gulfstream because often their pick 4 payouts are 4 figures or more. Just my opinion.
