Race #3   Picks:   9-7-3-10

Race #4   Picks:   6-2-4-1

Race #5   Picks:   9-10-3-2

Race #6   Picks:   1-4-6-2

Race #7   Picks:   1-8-4-10

In this $40,000 first-level allowance at about 5 furlongs on the turf there are no standouts and many entrants have a chance.  #1 Fizbo (6-1) was very solid in both of his turf starts this year. This lightly raced 7-year-old seems to run equally well on turf and dirt, and we have him on top today. #8 Miami Crockett (7-2) has run some decent turf races this year. He runs better when he gets the lead, but there are some other speed horses in here today so that might be tough. Even so, he looks like a top contender. #4 Showtime Cat (10-1) is a Charles Town shipper that ran very well in last two at Delaware at very long odds. If he can repeat those races, he will be very competitive today.  #10 Any Sugar Honey (10-1) is an also-eligible, but if he gets in he fits very well with this group. He has been in the trifecta in eight of 13 lifetime turf starts and should be in the mix today.

Race #8   Picks:   5-6-2-1

In this $40,000 claiming race for NW2 at 6 furlongs, #5 Judicial Mandate (7-2) is an improving 3-year-old who won a maiden special weight race in last. We think he will be able to move up the ladder and win his first try against winners. #6 Tapping the Glass (8-1) has not run in over a year but has put in some very fast works last month here at Delaware. Gary Capuano is good at bringing horses back after a layoff, and if this one is ready he could be very dangerous.  #2 Tate (5-2) was claimed last time out and had superior Beyer figures to any other horse in today’s race when he was running at the Fair Grounds. If he can run one of those races back he has a chance. #1 Frosted Indian (6-1) was holding his own in the New York circuit and fits well with these.

Race #9    Picks:  3-1-5-6
