Race #2    Picks:     3-6-4-1

Race #3    Picks:     9-10-6-8

Race #4    Picks:     2-3-4-5

Race #5    Picks:     3-9-6-7

This starter/optional claiming race at 1 1/16 miles on the turf is a wide open affair with many possibilities. #3 Kartano (2-1) has been facing tough competition at Gulfstream, including running a close third in the $75,000 English Channel. This gelding has never run a bad race in his life and we don’t think that will change today. We have him on top. #9 Alonzo Mosely (7-2) is coming in from Monmouth for trainer Joe Orseno.  This is another horse that seldom runs a bad race and will be fighting to the wire. A possibility. #6 Plamen (8-1) does have speed on the main track and ran okay in his only turf start. A possibility. #7 Especiallea (6-1) looks a notch below some others in here, but can get a piece of the pie if he runs his best.

Race #6     Picks:     1-3-6-2

In the $50,000 Blue Hen Stakes for Delaware-bred or certified two-year-old fillies at 5 1/2 furlongs #1 My Boss (8-5) has won her first two starts with a 55 Beyer in last. If she can improve off that start she will be tough to beat today. #3 Show’em Who’s Boss (7-2) ran well in her debut and should improve from that experience. A possibility. #6 Cashing Big Checks (6-1) is another filly looking to improve from her debut race. Could be in the mix. #2 California Bella (5-2) disappointed last time as the even-money favorite but if she can run back to her debut race, she has a chance.

Race #7    Picks:     9-1A-4-6

Race #8    Picks:     1-5-6-3
