Joe’s Selections

Race #1     Picks:     5-2-4-6

Race #2     Picks:     7-3-8-6

Race #3     Picks:     4-6-10-8

Race #4     Picks:     6-4-2-7

Race #5     Picks:     8-11-10-2

Race #6     Picks:     2-3-5-1A

Race #7     Picks:     12-7-2-3

In this $40,000 allowance race at one mile on the turf #12 Artistic Endeavor (7-2) is an also-eligible, but if he draws in he has a good shot today.  This three-year-old is still improving with three ascending speed figures. Any more improvement and he should cross the wire first today.  #7 Entertainment (6-1) has done well on the turf in his last two tries. This speed burner should get the lead and may be hard to catch. A possibility. Jamie Ness is bringing both horse and Jockey from Parx and although #2 Jammin Jimtown (9-2) has less class than some of the others in here, Ness wins with this type often.  #3 Ride Em (8-1) is another lightly raced, improving horse that has a shot with this group.

Race #8      Picks:     2-1-4-6

In this $40,000 first level allowance at 6 furlongs #2 Everett’s Song (3-1) looked strong in last breaking out of the maiden ranks and recent sharp works indicate he might be able to step up to the next condition and win. We have him on top today.  #1 Where Paradise Lay (2-1) is always competitive but seldom wins.  There is a lot of early speed in here and it may set up well for this closer. He has to be part of any exotic plays in this race. #4 Rileys Dude (8-1) is a need-the-lead type, but if he can get away he could be dangerous with this group. A possibility. #6 My Beau (8-1) is unpredictable but has had some good races. If he has one of his better days he will be competitive today.

Race #9     Picks:     5-9-3-11
