Race #1     Picks:   5-2-1-3

Race #2     Picks:   1-5-4-6

Race #3     Picks:    2-3-5-6

Race #4     Picks:   4-7-3-6

Race #5     Picks:   9-2-6-12

In this $25,000 maiden optional claiming Race at one mile on the turf #9 Lightning Rod (3-1) is racing for the first time since being gelded which can improve racing performance. He has been working well, and was competitive at Gulfstream before the layoff. Jane Cibelli is 27% when bringing horses back off the layoff. He is our top choice in this one. #2 Enjoy the Music (8-1) retuned after a 10 month layoff to run 8th at PARX. He needed that race and should run better today. If he can run anywhere near the performances he ran in Maiden Special weight company last your he will be very competitive. #6 Polterer (5-1) is coming back from an eight-month layoff and will be trying turf for the first time but his pedigree says he might not be a fish out of water on the grass. He was running against tough company on the synthetic at Woodbine last year and is getting lasix for the first time. This is a big drop in class. A possibility. #12 The Monk (4-1) ran a strong second in his last on the turf and may be involved today if he draws in.

Race #6    Picks:   7-6-1-4

Race #7   Picks:    6-5-7-2

In this second-level allowance/$32,000 optional claiming face at 5 furlongs on the turf for fillies and mares #6 Olive Kat (8-1) has won two in a row with speed figures above 80. Today she is stepping up in class, but none of her opponents look particularly fast at 5 furlongs on the turf. We think she can step up and cross the wire first today.  #5 Proper Manners (4-1) is always competitive at this distance on the turf and she should be right in the mix at the end. A contender.  #7 Baci (5-1) is another runner that has been doing well in turf sprints lately. She fits very well with this group. #2 The Aurelia Factor (12-1) was competitive in turf sprints last year and should be considered.

Race #8    Picks:    4-6-1-2
