Race 11-6-3-7In this maiden/optional claiming race for two year olds we are going with #1 Stevethevandriver (6-1). He is part of an entry and showed some early speed and then faded in debut. Ness is going with Jockey Chel-c Bailey who has the bug and is getting a 10-pound weight advantage, which could be important for this 2-year-old gelding… #6 Always Drinking (4-1) has the pedigree on top and bottom to run early. He has a good workout pattern, and trainer Andrew Simoff often has his horses ready in their debut… #3 Golden Hughes (8-1) is a possibility. This Chitu colt looks like he may want to run first out and has a good workout pattern to support that idea… #7 Splash (2-1) got his racing legs under him last time out and should improve in his second try.
Race 66-1-4-7This allowance/optional claiming race for 3-year-old non-winners of two is being run at a mile and 70 yards, This is a very competitive contest and should have no clear favorite.  #6 Lord Eddard Stark (3-1) made a late move in last after getting off to a slow start. Trainer Joseph Arboritanza does well when stretching out and this horse is a strong contender today… #1 Guillaume (10-1) did not like the turf after a long layoff, but has thrown a string of bullet works, and trainer Michael Stidham may have him prepped and ready to go for this one… #4 Dropped Anchor (2-1) has been in excellent form this year and seldom runs a bad race. He must be used in the exoticsYou can never count a Ness horse out, and the speed figures for #5 American Fleet (8-1) show he belongs if he runs his best.
Race 82-5-8-1 In this high-quality allowance/65K optional claiming race at six furlongs, #5 Breezy Gust (2-1)  has been one of the best horses on the grounds at Parx this year will likely go off the favorite. When he got an uncontested lead, he has been almost unbeatable. However, the last couple weeks Delaware Park has been favoring horses coming off the pace, so we are going to try to beat him with #2 Eastern Bay (3-1). This one is usually in a pressing position and has been facing some tough horses in Maryland. Look for him to come off the pace and to come out on top today… #8 Arch Cat  (6-1) has also been one of the better horses running in allowance races at Parx this year. He seldom runs a bad race and should be in the mix today… #1 Always Sunshine (6-1) is a 9-year-old who is still capable of running a big race. He has a lot of early speed and will be with the leaders.
