Race 47-1-6-4This starter allowance is very competitive and should pay well if the winner can be found.  #7 Magicgirl (8-1) looks like she has a good shot to be that winner. This closer will be running late and there is a lot of pace in this race. With this pace scenario she may pass them all in the lane… #1 Southern Cents (6-1) was running well at Oaklawn before the recent claim. Now Jamie Ness is sending her out for her second try after she faded while going off as the favorite at Parx. If she returns to her previous form she will have a good shot here… #6 Bess (2-1) has won three of her last four and is in good form including a 10-length victory in her last. She must be considered here… #4 Sweet Home Dixie (4-1) is another closer who will be running late.
Race 61-2-6-8This $40,000 claiming race for non-winners of two also looks very competitive with no clear-cut favorite. #1 Dalton (5-2) looks like a top contender here. This colt always gives a game effort and can win today if he runs his best. He needed the last race after a six-month layoff following his two year old season. Trainer Duarte shows a 0% winning percentage this year but is around 17% career… #2 Tate (9-5) won his debut at Delaware last year and since then has faced a lot of tough horses. This trainer-jockey combination wins at a high percentage. He is another one to strongly consider today… #6 American Patrol (6-1) broke his maiden three weeks ago, and coming right back and he looks strong here. Will be competitive today if the horse learned from that race and improves…  #8 Lord Eddard Stark (10-1) is an improving horse that is worth consideration.
Race 85-8-6-4Delaware Park has a good betting card today with some wide-open races and this optional claimer is no exception. #5 Baby I’m Perfect (5-1) is a seven-year-old speedball who was running well before being claimed by Kelly Breen last time out.  He has been working well including a bullet 5F workout a week ago. He is dangerous here… #8 McElmore Avenue (3-1) is a very consistent gelding , who won four of his last five before a three-month layoff. He has the speed figures to be with the leaders at the finish line and is a top contender here… #6 Skyscanner (8-1) ran well last time out after being claimed by Mark Reid, and If he repeats that race he will find his way into the exotics. #4 Air Token (2-1) has some of the highest speed figures of any of the entrants and deserves a look.
