RACE 2
- #5 Vinny Dream (5-2): Keeps improving as a 3-year-old and still has not run his best.
- #1 Lavery (3-1): Gulfstream shipper trying Parx for the first time. Has speed figures to compete with these.
- #3 Boy Who Cried Wolf (5-1): Won for fun in his first start, and if he can repeat that race, he will be a threat again.
- Triple Crown: Rocket Can wins Holy BullBill Mott trainees ran one-two as Rocket Can won the Holy Bull Stakes on the road to the Kentucky Derby.
RACE 3
- #2 Russian Runner (4-1): No horses have run close to par this year. Seems like a good spot for a first-time starter.
- #1 Big Time Operator (12-1): Showed some early speed before fading last out. Drop may help put him in contention.
- #8 Reigning Champion (3-1): Has had several decent races at Md 25000. Will compete with these.
RACE 4
- #1 Knokke by the Sea (6-1): Made a late bid last time but got blocked in the stretch. Can win with a better trip.
- #6 Green Growth (5-2): Good win with a decent figure last time. In good form.
- #2 Bronxville (9-2): Very wide trip last time. Will be in the mix if he runs back the March 4 race.
RACE 5
- #3 Bob’s My Uncle (6-1): This 9-year-old still has some gas in the tank and should compete for the win here.
- #7 Hitmewthurbestshot (3-1): Dropping down for this race and speed figures say he will be a strong contender. Kate DeMasi good after a layoff.
- #2 Flashy Kyem (4-1): Very consistent and should be in the trifecta if he runs his normal race and last is thrown out.

RACE 6
- #6 Le Weekend (9-5): Got caught in a duel last time. May go wire to wire against this field.
- #7 Gypsy Janie (3-1): Has faced tough competition and not disgraced himself. 9 wins in 33 starts.
- #3 Li’lbito’charm (6-1): In good form. Fits well with these.
- Which horses had the best post-CT Classic careers?Art Collector’s win in Saturday’s Grade 1 Pegasus got us wondering: which winners of the Charles Town Classic had the best careers after their Classic win?
RACE 7
- #5 Mass Appeal (6-1): Has run evenly lately but likely to be decent odds and can beat these on any given day.
- #3 Kid Mac Cool (15-1): Needs some others to have early speed to make a closing run and may get it in this race.
- #6 Wushu Warrior (5-2): Has a good shot here if last is thrown out.
RACE 8
- #4 Precious (5-2): Very strong effort last time and a repeat of that race should win this.
- #1 Trolley Ride (5-1): Second after long layoff but and if she can return to last year’s form she will be right in the mix.
- #5 Dilly Dilly Philly (6-1): Always give a good effort and should get a piece of the exotics here.
- PICK 4 WAGER (the following wagers are meant to cover a range of possibilities while putting more money behind those considered most likely):
- $2 P4: 4/3/5/10
- $1 P4: 1,5/3/5/10 4/1,5/5/10 4/3/7,8/10 4/3/5/8,9

RACE 9
- #3 Exogen (4-1): Has been facing stiff competition and been holding his own. The one to beat.
- #5 Double Doink (5-1): Has been facing lesser competition but ascending speed figures look promising.
- #1 Did I Stutter (9-2): Winner of 4 in a row is in excellent form.
RACE 10
- #5 Dalton (3-1): Always gives a game effort and can win here if he runs his best.
- #7 Spectatorless (6-1): Ran very well in his maiden race. Then tried graded stakes and turf where he did not fare well. Back to his preferred surface today.
- #8 Exculpatory (5-1): Game effort after a slow start in debut. Fits well with these.
RACE 11
- #10 Majestic Jazz (3-1): Should be able to get the lead with this group of horses and if he does will be tough to catch.
- #9 West Fork (6-1): Decent races in last two. Any improvement on that run will put him in contention.
- #8 Inky Dinky Do (15-1): Back down to the level where he should be able to compete.
