Parx Racing has a 10-race card this afternoon, and Joe Parisi is on board to handicap. Post time is 12:55 p.m. Good luck!

Carryovers: None

Note: Joe likes multi-race wagers, so horses in these may be considered for doubles and Pick 3s, in particular.

  • #4 Fleeterthan (9-5): Strong effort last two at this level. Should be able to handle this field.
  • #6 Karabessa (6-1): Has back speed. Could be a factor if she runs like she did last summer.
  • #3 Frisky Feeling (6-1): Always gives a good effort and should be used in exotics.
    • PICK 4 WAGER (the following wagers are meant to cover a range of possibilities while putting more money behind those considered most likely):
    • $1.50 P4: 4/1/1/4
    • $1.00 P4: 3,6/1/1/4   4/2,5/1/4   4/1/4,6/4   4/1/1/3,7
    • $.0.50 P4: 3,6/2,5/1/4   3,6/1/4,6/4   3,6/1/1/3,7   4/2,5/4,6/4   4/2,5/1/3,7   4/1/4,6/3,7
    • Total: $21.50

  • #1 Prince Champ (7-2): Ran wide and closed well in the slop last out. Stretching out, likely winner today.
  • #2 Grandfire (8-5): Two seconds and two thirds in 13 lifetime races. Should be in the top three again by default
  • #5 Rebel Traveller (9-2): Has tried and missed a number of times at this level, but may be getting in form to make a run here.

  • #1 Fried Rice King (4-1): Had some trouble last time. Speed figures make him competitive at this next condition. Needs a good start.
  • #6 Tomasco (6-1): 3 wins in 14 tries, Won at this level in December.
  • #4 G Daddy (5-2): Back down to claiming company where he belongs. Has a shot in this field.

  • #4 Oak Creek Canyon (9-5): Third race at this level since shipping to Parx. Second with new trainer and may show improvement.
  • #7 Intervention (8-1): Has shown early speed at this level and may like the shorter distance.
  • #3 My Little Melody (5-1): Another horse with early speed who may like the shorter distance.

  • #4 Rose of Dublin (6-1): Just missed two back after a poor start. Can win with a repeat of that effort.
  • #5 Izzadora Bella (2-1): Back to a level where she should be able to be a major factor.
  • #6 Big Red Seven (3-1): Has been competitive lately. Should be part of exotics.

  • #4 Wushu Warrior (5-2): In good form. Has a shot at this level.
  • #1 Freiburg (10-1): 8 1/2 furlongs may have been too far for him. Turn back to 7F should help him today.
  • #6 Nico Bree N Teej {6-1):  Has to be respected based on early speed ability.

  • #6 Helene Jacqueline (9-5): Keeps getting close. Not much else in here to stop her this time.
  • #3 Amers (7-2): Shipper trying for the second time at this class level at Parx. Should be able to compete with this group.
  • #1 Mrs. Crews (5-1): Has looked better with her new trainer.  Should be able to find a place in the exotics.

  • #2 Strong Breeze (4-1): Abrams seems to have a good feeling for this horse’s ability. He does well bringing back horses second race a layoff.
  • #3 Tap the Mark (5-1): Class drop and speed figures should put him right in the mix.
  • #5 Spring Emperor (5-2): Seldom runs a bad race. He will be with the leaders coming down the stretch.

  • #9 Fist of Thor (10-1): Lone speed will be dangerous if he gets clear
  • #1 Mr Classical (4-1): Has been showing speed his last several. Should be competitive in this field.
  • #5 Chrisatude (6-1): PA-bred back down to a level where he will be in the mix.

  • #4 Enough Love (6-1): Just missed last time after getting passed by an off-the-pace horse. Any improvement will put her over the top.
  • #9 Triple Jump (3-1): Has not won in a long time but the drop to this level gives her a chance. Speed figures higher than most of these. First start since November.
  • #10 Kit Kat Katie (4-1): Improved effort in last. Return to fall form would put her right there.
