* At the Timonium Fair Grounds ALL RACES are contested on a ½ mile dirt oval. Forecast for the northern Baltimore suburb on SUNDAY is for Mostly Sunny skies with temps in the mid-80’s and no chance of rain. Therefore, the below selections in are based on the track condition being FAST.

Race 1

  1. #4 – Added Spice (3-5): Hard pressed to find any others in here to run w/ her early
  2. #7 – Magnify (6-1): Showed little interest in debut but Toledo should try to get more  
  3. #2 – Personal Property (15-1): Drops a couple class levels; Potts scores 30% that scenario                 

 

Race 2

  1. #5 – Really Blue Moon (3-1): *Best Bet* Used to bull ring @ CT; went to nose at start in last
  2. #1 – Street Poet (10-1): Tossing last 2; rider lost irons when veered at start & he hates off track
  3. #4 – Fifteen Black (5-2): Nice try first time v. winners behind next out winner & 1-1 fav.              

 

Race 3

  1. #1 – Good Missy (7-2): Tim 4f just what doctor ordered after losing 2 leads late going 4½    
  2. #7 – Arundhati (5-1): Flashed early speed 1st time blinkers but 6f was too far

Of the suggested multi-race wagers hit the $2 DOUBLE in R7-R8 for $97.20 (cost: $18).
  • BEST BET of the Day (85: 23-21-14) Magritte (7th race: 7-2 M/L; 3-2 PT) stalked the pace, advanced in the two path down the backstretch to gain a short lead near the three eighths pole, dueled inside the winner and missed in a game effort coming up a ½ length short to return $3.40 to PLACE and $3.00 to SHOW.
  • LONGSHOT PLAY OF THE DAY (79: 11-8-16) Wilko Rum (4th race: 8-1 M/L; 3-1 PT) rank early towards the inside, angled out leaving the far turn, circled four wide into the stretch and rallied miss the runner-up spot by a neck, another 1¼ lengths behind the winner returning $2.60 to SHOW.
