* At the Timonium Fair Grounds ALL RACES are contested on a ½ mile dirt oval. Forecast for the northern Baltimore suburb on SATURDAY is for Mostly Sunny skies with temps in the low-80’s and no chance of rain. Therefore, the below selections in are based on the track condition being FAST.

Race 1

  1. #6 – Ski Bare (6-5): Will get a solid pace to stalk; suspicious drop? Nah, H-Wolf 32% on big drop
  2. #3 – Scatajawea (6-1): A bit short on the speed figs but best 2 races of career came at this distance
  3. #4 – Discreet Rose (1-1): No doubt about it, she’ll be on lead under wire 1st time, but will be pressed

Race 2

  1. #1 – Taylor Jagger (6-1): Felix Reyes only mount & an upgrade from recent bugs; stretch out key
  2. #3 – Breezy Girl (3-1): Seems M/L odds maker is willing to forgive issues in last 2 as well
  3. #6 – Live the Forth (9-2): Has made a living sprinting but was runner-up in only try routing

Race 3

  1. #4 – Bridgeville (5-1): Hoping 4½f ‘15 debut @ CT was a freshener as he’s 1 for 1 going 6½f
  2. #5 – Lagi Lagi (12-1): Only other runner in here to win at distance (9: 2-1-2); this Ex. needs prayers
  3. #7 – The Snickers Kid (3-1): Needs clean start and :48 half to take this group gate-2-wire

Race 4

  1. #1 – Wilko Rum (8-1): $Longshot Play$ Corrales seems to have found what makes him tick
  2. #4 – Mr. Roessink (7-2): Away since March after a productive winter; 1 for 19 at distance a concern

Race 5

  1. #7 – Tizracer (3-1): Speedy shipper goes for potent (33%) Almodovar/Patterson combo

Race 6

  1. #3 –The Camden Comet (4-1): 4 for 4 at this distance but may need a pace meltdown
  2. #4 – Cho Time (5-2): Overcame rough start in last outing at same level to prevail
  3. #5 – Town of Towns (9-2): Beat Magic Lion (see R5 above); so if he does well, then…

Race 7

  1. #4 – Magritte (7-2): *Best Bet* Solid 3 y.o. has impressed on turf & dirt in recent efforts
  2. #6 – Classic Brew (7-2): Will bounce back from bad start & wide trip in 1st off layoff
  3. #7 – Lawmaker (6-1): Prx shipper didn’t beat much last race; still could move forward

Race 8

  1. #4 – Rockinn On Bye (6-1): Had a runner-up effort on this oval in ’14; distance fits like a glove
  2. #3 – Service for Ten (7-5): Is the class of the field but typical rally in stretch may fall short
  3. #2 – Picko’s Pride (9-5): Will have no excuse if he gets an easy lead; especially if #1A scratches

Race 9

  1. #1 – Nohitterthrewsix (6-1): Running line in 1st 2 career races has look of wanting more distance
  2. #6 – Crash McNamara (6-1): FTS bred for distance; like 5f works @ Fai; hasn’t proven he’s bad yet
  3. #2 – Rodeado (3-2): Starting to look like he doesn’t have will to win; failed as PT fav. in last 2
