Therefore, the below selections in are based on those race being run ON the TURF.

Race 1

  1. #2 – Jump for Love (9-5): Well intended in debut (7-2) & was a clear runner-up 5¼ ahead of 3rd
  2. #10 – Holiday Blues (6-1): FTS by Ghostzapper has nice work tab, especially those from the gate
  3. #4 – Value Added (8-1): Trombetta gets good ones from R. Larry Johnson; Street Magician FTS

Race 2

  1. #7 – I’m Mr. Blue (7-2): He’s 1 of just 2 in here who have won going 7f; 5 of 9 in Ex @ Lrl
  2. #9 – Thurmont (15-1): Came back after 13 mo. layoff, wasn’t ready, may be now (re: works)
  3. #6 – Daily News (15-1): Late blooming 3 y.o. woke-up w/ addition of blinkers 2 back

Race 3

  1. #13 – Jeezum Jim (5-2): Quick from gate & bet (3-1) when runner-up in debut; Carrasco opts for #1 though

  2. #10 – Zoo (15-1): Has had share of bad trips; catches weak field; has plenty of 70-some Brisnet#s that win this one
  3. #2 – Grand Notion (15-1): Sire has thrown many decent local turf runners; like 5 & 6f works; gets Carrasco

  2. #8 – Pagan Priestess (15-1): Having a sub-par 2015 campaign but most recent was encouraging
  3. #9 – Complete St. (4-1): Ran credible v. boys last outing; best efforts come when turf is firm

* Race 9

  1. #7 – Ginger N Rye (7-2): *Best Bet* Stretches out to two-turns after strong effort sprinting after layoff
  2. #14 – Pret Say Eye (8-1): Needs a smart ride first time going long; toss last race on slop @ Sar
