  • The BEST BET of the Day (69: 16-17-12) Souper Lucky (3rd race: 5-2 M/L; x-1 PT) saved ground stalking the pace, advanced along the rail on the far turn, eased out to the three path approaching the stretch, secured command in upper stretch, opened a clear lead approaching the eighth pole and was kept to his business in the drive to victory and return $4.00 to WIN, $2.80 to PLACE and $2.20 to SHOW.
  • The LONGSHOT PLAY OF THE DAY (62: 11-6-12) Granny’s Drink (7th race: 8-1 M/L; x-1 PT) chased the pace outside and weakened in the drive to finish 5th, 1½ lengths behind the winner.
