  • The BEST BET of the Day (30: 5-10-4) Rolling Yona (7th race: 5-2 M/L; 1-1 PT) four wide leaving the turn, was taken to the three path in upper stretch and advanced to reach a striking position inside the top pair in mid-stretch then flattened out to finish 3rd returning $2.10 to SHOW.
  • The LONGSHOT PLAY OF THE DAY (26: 4-1-9) Geraldine (2nd race: 8-1 M/L; 4-1 PT) rated four wide between rivals and well in range, lodged a bid mid turn, vied outside a pair of foes while under confident handling into the lane, poked a head in front nearing the three sixteenths, came under a ride when headed a furlong out by EXCHANGE STUDENT, forged back to the lead soon after while under stout left handed rousing then began to edge away at the wire for the ‘W” to return $10.60 to WIN, $5.00 to PLACE and $2.60 to SHOW .
